i think it would be trick just because of the orginality factor. i wish they made one because i needed a 4x4 and room for 4 so i had to go with the blazer and now i miss the truck bed feature.

You could always find one of the original crew cab conversions... they are all conversions built by conversion companies, but there are some around.

it depends on how you extend the cab. if your gonna do it, use the doors off a suburban, ive seen some pics of where they used two sets of truck doors, and i didnt think it looked very good.

I suppose I could take some more-----truck is still in the process of building, ran out of money in the divorce, contemplated selling it a couple of times. I will post more pics in a couple of days.

Originally I was going to put a flat bed on it, now I think I will push the rear axle forward 2'' and put a regular bed on it with some sort of dually fenders, the rear axle is out of a 1987 pick-up so it is the wide dana 70. Anybody have ideas for the fenders?

1968 front end from the firewall forward to the grill, 1970 burb center section with the back of the 68 cab. 1993 6.5 turbo diesel with a turbo 400 to a 205 t-case to a gear vender overdrive. Been thinking of changing to a fuel injected 454 tbi.

If you change to the 454 I might be interested in the diesel engine if you decide to sell it.
