11500 for a '77 that has been sitting outside since 77. And doesn't run. That's a little messed up

Original title with only 3 original miles, that's what you're paying for I guess.

. I am in Pierce. the prices are unreal. we started talking to some folks and they are taking them to New York and new Jersey.

I have had this 40K mile 77 K-10 beauty for sale for a while and i still have it. it is literally 100 times nicer than the $20K truck and has hardly spent a night outside. I wish i had dragged it here on the trailer.

Re: Old squares bringing good money at auction

Did the dealership pull parts off these trucks over the years to repair customer trucks or are some of the parts missing because they were stolen over the years?

I watched most of this auction on TV last night on the History Channel, one of the bidders bought back his own car he traded in to the dealership back in '61.

There is a picture on carsinbarns of the 69 ss chevelle with a tree laying on it in 2004. The auction claimed it was from snow.

I had not seen those pics yet. I thought most everything was said to be in an 80 acre oat field. That makes more since then. Are these other pics from carsinbarns or somewhere else.

Those prices are disgusting. Some people have too much money to blow. I can't believe that a lot of those squares sold for double what some if the rarer cars sold for. Crazy.

Seriously, it all the hype about it. All those cars need full restorations.

I wonder who "o****e" is? He bought the lion's share of those trucks. Deep pockets!

Radiators were stolen. A few parts were gone but I think they were untouched by the dealer.

I watched it on history channel. It's a neat story, but I wouldn't call a lot of these vehicles "survivors" they are so f'ed up.
