How many bed cross sills on a 1954?

I am searching several sites for bed cross sills but neither of them tell me definitively how many I need. I have the rear-most one that attaches to the bedside and covers the end of the boards, but none of the others.

1) How many cross sills are there for the short bed?
2) Are they all the same height?
3) Are the height measurements available if I wanted to make my own?

Not getting too specific, there are 4. Lets day "A" is the front; "B" are the center and "C" being the rear. Apparently "A" and "B" are different is some way. So, there is 1 "A", 2 "B" and 1 "C". Not sure about measurements.
