Would like to find a set of Charley's Drop Shop modified front lower control arms for my 70 C-10. Wanting to lower truck on the cheap and keep the drum brakes. Thanks much,
Bob

Re: WTB lower control arms

I talked to Charley himself over the phone a few weeks ago. Nice guy and very informative. Here is what I learned. A modified set of his lower control arms is $290 + you must send a pair of cores for credit or there is a additional charge. Well I am not saying I wont go that route
Thanks, Bob

I recall seeing a set on a local guys truck. They were very nice. There are a lot of those trucks around here, but not many running those arms.

Thanks, Bob

Re: WTB lower control arms

Yes, I agree. He does a nice job with modifying the factory control arm. They are sort of old school I guess, because this is the way it was done prior to lowering spindles and disc brake change over kits coming onto the market.

Ok Keith...not a problem. Great forums here for these trucks. I can see where I will probably be wanting to buy and sell at some point here. Can membership payment be made thru my PayPal account? Thanks much, Bob

Thanks for supporting the board!
$15 or $25 is a great investment.
I saved quadruple that on the first part I bought off the board.
And have sold $$$ worth of parts here as well.

But helping to support the board for all the info I have recieved, was the best for me.
