On mine (to be used for aux power) I used 12 GA wire from an unused circuit (power windows) on my EZwire fuse box. I think original comes from the light switch, as Mr48 said I changed it. Just had a thought, I need to check and see if that circuit is switched or not, I want it to be unswitched. You can tap off of any powered circuit and use a fusible link or inline fuse.
