Well, if he doesn't need any of those.... those are the original style mirrors, right?

I need a set to replace the ones on the '70... only the driver's side is still on the truck and I think my brother threw away the other for me (not sure, but don't know). Doesn't help that they are really tweaked anyway.

I was suppoused to send him two mirror heads that were white i looked at my stock and it turned out that the second white one i had was rusted and not worth using. you need a right and left i am sure we could work something out he was just taking the glass parts which you could get anywhere. Yhe mirrors i have are all original equipment from 76 -79 trucks i dont think they changed at all though one of the chrome ones is longer than the other two
let me know what ya need and im sure we can do something

Thanks for the post!

All I really need is the glass. Mine are 7" X 10" (approx) and I could use new glass for both.

I will take just the glass or the whole head if you don't want to take the glass out.

Paul

The '70 has a painted bracket on the driver's side with the passenger side one gone now of course. We got new heads from the parts store, so I don't really need those (these are the types where the head has a bolt going in sideways into the end of the bracket, right?) I guess. I just need two brackets that'll fit on there. I'd like to get ones that'll go in those current holes, but I guess I need to get measurements of the hole spacing first, don't I?

being that he only needed glass i took the frames apart on the white one i had and pulled off the head and sent him the whole head. it was crappy condition and had been brush painted white
if you want i could send you the three other mirrors i have in their entireity mirrors and mounts ( two are smaller than the one) that are in great condition for lets say $15 plus the ride personally i prefer the chrome ones to the white and youll have for each door if ya use the shorty or a stainless steel one for the right door and two extra mirror heads or pass em along sound fair?

sounds fair to me if it does to you... you don't use paypal do you? Seems to work a little quicker than the USPS..I had bad luck recently with them too... they almost lost the title to my panel! Fortunately after almost destroying the envelope they returned it to sender whoe sent it back to me and it's now in my hot little hands awaiting a chance to go by the court house to see if they'll issue me a TN title even if I'm not officially a TN resident...

Anyway, to the matter at hand...
If you don't take paypal, I can always send a check, but I'll need to know the total either way.
