The Black Mamba Full 1969 c10 resto build

I am starting a build thread for my 1969 chevy c10 2wd 292 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed saginaw. I started this build a few months back and will be posting pictures from now until I either finish or sell the truck. The entire purpose of the truck is to rebuild and restore then sell for enough money to get my entire suspension for my 1968 chevy c10 and maybe a set of billet wheels!

I am replacing the entie bottom half of the cab with new sheetmetal 100%!
The engine has already been restored cleaned and painted. New gaskets, clutch kit and flywheel, starter, fuel pump exhaust gasket, some hoses were replaced. The entire factory exhaust is on the truck obviously replaced and in good shape bu not new. Oem muffler under the bed and oem tailpipe. Once I am finished welding the cab floor I am going to put some primer on the cab and probably paint where the bed covers. I have a 1994 c1500 stepside bed for the truck.
The wheels were custom bored out to fit the 1969 hubs which are alot bigger then the 2002 silverado hubs which is where the rims came from.
I am on the fence on a color for the truck bt probably a blue metallic or a oem green metallic like a 1969 would have the lighter lime looking color.

Hit me up with all questions and ideas for the build but I want it to be 100% oem inside and out nothing crazy! I want it to hold its vale as a restored truck. I am obviously up for buying parts as it needs a few just pm me as this is my build thread!

Re: The Black Mamba Full 1969 c10 resto build

Hey guy I would weld some braces inside the cab. To keep it from spreading outward and inward. I didn't do it and now I am paying for it. My doors was a bear to get back in the same spot. I had to cut my welds off and move the back to where it would line up. A lot of work. so a few braces want hurt. Just thought I would say something in case you have not done it already.
