Re: Fuel gage accuracy

I got a replacement gauge from Classic Parts (about $50) and it has been accurate for about the past 6 years. I replaced the sending units in both tanks with aftermarket Spectra brand units and they cause the gas gauge to bounce, but the gauge reads accurately when the vehicle is stopped. I have had 3 old squares and this is the only one which needed a gas gauge. They all needed sending units.
