Chevrolet 3100 pick up -49 original front + rear end?

Could someone say whether those front and rear original?
The rear end would probably not have a lock?
The purpose will be to put a mustang 2 front and rear 4-link, do you think the big thing?
I was going to buy the parts of the No Limit movement, or would it be something like one of the better places available?
I had a bit of a hurry with it, so thank you very much for your answers!!!

Re: Chevrolet 3100 pick up -49 original front + rear end?

Original style front axle with disk brakes added.

The rear axle appears to be a mid 70's Camaro or Nova 10 bolt. That probably matches the V8 engine and automatic transmission that are in the truck.

As the builder cut the brackets/spring pads off the original rear axle and welded them to the new rear axle make sure that the welds that hold the two pieces of the pads/brackets are welded solidly together. If I planned on driving it in a rather spirited manner I would think about changing the rear axle mount to pads and U bolts that went over the axle for a bit more strength. For a nice cruiser it is ok as is.

No limit makes good front end pieces as do some of the others. Rob from there posts on the 67/72 forum fairly often and is good to answer people's questions. The company has a good reputation for responding to your questions also and that is important.

Whether in that the rear end lock?
Able to find out without seeing the car / axle? (car only just coming to me, so I do not get to see the codes axle ...)

What is the front left tire rubbing against?

If it has power steering upgrade that is probably what the Tire is running on.
