Rochester Monojet Carb help..

Hey everyone, just recently made an account here on the forum after having been lurking for about a year since I started working on my truck again. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and go through my carb, clean it out, replace the float, etc. and I ordered a carb rebuild kit from Mike's Carburetor Parts. Everything came in safe and sound, pulled the carb off the intake and proceeded to disassemble the thing. Well after cleaning it and keeping very close track of all the bits and pieces for reassembly, I realized that my monojet is actually missing a few small components..If you look at this http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1243946851 diagram, I am missing numbers 36 and 37, as well as the tiny circle spring that goes inside the cup on the pump assembly. I figure someone must have taken this thing apart before me and lost the pieces, so here I am now trying to find replacements. Can anyone offer any insight as to where I might be able to find these pieces, or if they matter? Thanks

Re: Rochester Monojet Carb help..

I cannot help as I hired a garage to rebuild mine with a NAPA rebuild kit. I use the Rochester Monojet also. Someone on here will help no doubt.

I see Mono's sitting on top of many 250's in the junk yards.

Re: Rochester Monojet Carb help..

Thanks for the help thus far guys.. I looked through a couple websites as well as the linked one and its not looking like these particular parts are really available online. Guess I'll be digging around at the junkyard; not such a bad way to spend a saturday i suppose.
