Hello Early 40s to 49 guys, anyone know where I can get a set of the eye bolts for the Lever action shocks to frame?

I'm not finding any through the usual sources. I didn't look on Chevs of the 40's yet though.

You might have to hope that someone on here has the links off his truck after he pulled the lever action shocks or front end off the truck during an upgrade.

Why wouldn't they repop these? They repop everything else on these old cars and TRUCKS.

Someone might but I couldn't find them. I think most guys swap over to tube shocks, even a lot of guys who otherwise keep the trucks real close to stock.

I'd sure be asking them if it is what you are looking for before doing any ordering though.

Check with Jim Carter http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/ His catalog online doesn't work for me but I'd just call or email them and see if they have what you need.

Check a marine supplier, I can't tell the size from the picture but it looks like a common size.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
