How do I remove my center link from the pitman arm when there is only a nut on one side? The nut spins, but the whole stud does. I don't know how to hold the one side from spinning, any suggestions?

Carefully grind one of the flats on the nut until it is close to the threads. Then do the same on the opposite side of the nut. A sharp rap or two with a small chisel should cause the nut to come off in two pieces.

I have a pneumatic die grinder with a cutoff wheel for that kind of work but use what you have.

That had crossed my mind. I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. Thanks

You can also use a pickle fork to tighten up the slack enough to turn the nut off.

I'll try the pickle fork first then get the grinder out as a second option. Thanks.
