WTD. Road Draft Tube - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking for the road draft tube that came on big block Chevy & GMC trucks. Not sure if they were on the pick ups or just the big trucks. They look like a small fruit juice can on top of the left valve cover with a 1" metal tube attached going out & down over the back of the valve cover.

The Road Draft Tube Does the same thing it did for the small block Chevys in the pre smog days. Vented the crank case.
On small blocks they came out of the back of the block behind the distributor & a 1" tube vented out down by the starter. On big block Chevys they had a small sheet metal can that plugged into the rubber grommet in the left valve cover and a 1" tube came out of it at right angles and went over the back of the valve cover & dropped down the back of the block & ended about even with the bottom of the oil pan. These motors also had a vented oil fill cap on the right valve cover.

Great link, but they don't have what I'm looking for. Their parts cover from 55 to 64 & I think these tubes were more in the
67 to 72 years. Thanks for the help. Rick
