adjustable track bar question
I am going lower the rear of my truck with 4" drop springs and was wondering if I needed an adjustable track bar with that amount of drop? I have read several other posts on the site and some say yes and some say no... Can someone please give me some guideance? Also, what about rear shock relocators? Thanks for the help!

Re: adjustable track bar question
At 4" you are right on the border, you could do without BUT both the adj track bar and the shock relocator kit are excellent upgrades, plus if you want to go lower in the future you will NEED these.

Re: adjustable track bar question
Pop in the springs and see if your rear end stays centered side to side. If it doesn't you need an adjustable trac bar.

Re: adjustable track bar question
Some say yes, some say no.
For the shock relocators: I say yes, the stock shock geometry was not the best to begin with, then take 4 inches out........ As for the panhard bar, I also say yes but you can use your stock bar and measure once you get all the weight on it, then decide what's best for your truck.

Re: adjustable track bar question
Thanks for the help. After reading the replies, it looks like it's not a bad idea to do both.

Re: adjustable track bar question
i lowered a few trucks with 4" springs in the back and found the offset caused by lowering was too much for me to use 10" wide wheels to stay in the wheelwells without the adjustable panhard bar
