Wilwood brake ?
Looking to install Wilwood rear brakes and d52 front calipers. Now what I want to know is if it will work with my factory style booster and master. My truck is a 70 c10 with front disk and rear drum

Re: Wilwood brake ?
The booster and master should work as long as you have a disc/disc proportioning valve, or an adjustable one.

Re: Wilwood brake ?
Agree, it is best to mainly match up the booster with the front system, and in your case, disc. So, as long as you have a disc master, you will be good. In most cases, the prop valve will be needed, and just a good idea to help dial in the rear.
We have our Pro1 Wilwood kit that uses the D52's front, Powerslot rotors, Rear D154 kit & SS lines front and rear. We use the D154, since it is a floating caliper and works a little better with the c-clip rear, and the caliper matches the front a little better (both being a gloss black smooth finish, e-brake cables, etc.) If you wanted to use the same rotors you have, and switch to a plain rotor rear to match, it would be $360 cheaper. http://www.azproperformance.com/Pro1...Brake-Kit.html |

Re: Wilwood brake ?
Ok you can run your master and it will work kinda.... If I am reading this correct you will have 4 wheel disc brakes so you need a 4 wheel disc brake master. Corvette ones work fine. Then you will need a adjustable prop valve to set brake bias. It is best to run 3/16 hard line to #3 hoses at the corners.
