tire wear

Hey guys. Got a quick question. If you see my profile pick you can see my truck has been lowered a tad from the po. I noticed my front tires are wearing more towards the outside more than inside. It also looks like the camber is slightly off but the tops of my wheels point ever so slightly inward and the bottom slightly outward. I heard that 2wd trucks wear more on the outside than in. Any thoughts? It doesn't shimmy down the highway. Steering returns to middle but if im driving straight with the steering wheel straight up..it puls VERY slightly to the left. What are yoh guys thoughts?

Re: tire wear

Toe angle. Your toe is set to far in and it's wearing the outside of your tires

Negative camber isn't bad (top of wheel sits further in than bottom) no more than -.1 ~ -.5* for a street truck. About 5* caster if you can get it and try 1-1/16 toe in per side or toe out if you want to experiment

Take it to a shop and see where your at.

Re: tire wear

I would take it to a dependable front end shop for an alignment..Cheaper then buying tires and they will straighten out your wheel.

Hope you meant about 1/16 per side for a total toe-in of 1/8".
