Just picked up a 48 that's in pieces. Looking forward to the build. I'm hoping to find a lot of information on this forum to help the build go smooth. I've built 80's style trucks but they were more mud toys. I was in the middle of restoring my 85 C10 2wd but the 48 came along and it was a no brainer. The only big hurdle I see hitting is the suspension. I prefer building my own opposed to buying an aftermarket setup. I am a welder/mechanic by trade and I have access to the c10, 87 camaro and 76 corvette complete suspensions. I don't want to cut up a vette but the other 2 are fair game.
