Tach Wiring Help
I have a Super Pro tach I want to put in my truck but it's older and I'm not sure how to wire it. There are red, green, black and white small gauge wires on it and I'm not sure what they are for. I know one goes to the dist but what are the rest for? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Tach Wiring Help
green to dizzy, red to ignition source, black to ground and white is power for the light, should plug into your dashlight fuse source

Re: Tach Wiring Help
To add to bigmac73's instruction, the green goes to the negative side of the coil if you are running a point style distributor with an external coil or the green wire goes to the "tach" lead on an HEI.
