61 ish windshield washers are these rare? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was in the local scrap yard when I ran across about a 61 1 ton custom cab big window wrecker. I only do 456 years but I had to look it over.
It had all the chrome knobs still and I noticed it had a washer button sticking thru the knob. I got all the knobs and the wiper switch, including the choke cable and throttle cable.
I left the wiper motor, and chrome floor vent knobs and cables.

Is any of this rare for these models? Should I go get the other stuff? I don't need it but I thought someone on here might

if the floor vents knobs & cables are reasonable, id be interested in them. the deluxe knobs are desireable and a complete matching set is nice. if you get the throttle cable, get the wall mounted ferrell and the throttle assembly with it. these are pieces that are needed and not available aftermarket.

the motors and washer units are nice to have and get the harness for it

i use the throttle cable as a poor mans cruise control

They are somewhat rare. You won't have a hard time selling them.
They cable operated floor vents are worth grabbing and probably the washer/wiper motor.

I agree with Jon, but look over that truck carefully, I'm sure there's other goodies.

If it has a 2 speed wiper motor with the washer, that is rare.

do you have a pic of throttle cable where it comes through the firewall from both sides

No, I didn't take any pics before I removed things .... I was limited on time, it was really close to the crusher and figured it might be gone by the time I came back, so I got off the easy stuff
