It does but I accidentally scraped part of it off between the 3 and 0 and it looks like the 8 was already gone. It's pretty fragile at this point. I will try and get some water or something tonight and get it cleaned off a little better.

THANKS . . . I'd really appreciate it . . . I'm doing research so I can have some reproduced. I'd be curious to see how bright the colors are. Maybe some windex or another "wild" cleaner might work. Just rub LIGHTLY !!! LOL

Being a 69, it might have had just the regular "350" decal though.

Another time machine! Most "new" vehicles were pre '67, but I believe yours was one of those trade ins on a newer model. I'd rather go to an Lambrecht type auction and see mostly original unaltered imperfect vehices than go to any West Coast car show and see the same typical over modified vehicles over and over again. Not many trucks of your vintage on the show circuit still have the 307 decal on the valve cover, or optional 16" wheels and painted hubcaps and front bumper.

Here's a couple more pics. It's definitely different than the one you posted. If you get around to getting any reproduced I would be in the market for one.

From my research, I believe the 69 engines DIDN'T have the "8 350" decal . . . your pictures help to prove this. I guess I'm going to have to start a thread for "ALL Lambrecht" owners to take pictures of their driver's side valve covers !!! THANKS for your help !!!

. . . .

Below, are two pictures of an ORIGINAL 69 350 decal that was on a low milage fire vehicle.

It is the same design of what your 307 decal probably looked like before the wrath of nature came upon it !!!

Hi Jmader
you have your work cut out for you if you restore this one. I started on my build about 2 months ago and have some of the rot issue I see in your picks. this is the link on my build. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=596036 .

Does the driver's side valve cover have the same decal ? OR nothing at all ? ( under the " mung " )

It's hard to tell from your picture ( below ) of the driver's side.
