wiper blade, 1966 C20, issues
Hi - Purchased wiper arms / blades from LMC Truck.
Blades fit onto the arms, but they are VERY loose, and when I turn on wipers, the blade "falls over" onto it's side. the OEM wiper arm has a flat end, with a small bump on it. the blades fit onto the flat end, and i can see the bump thru the hole in the blade. To me, almost seems like it needs a SHIM to make it fit snugly. Any help? If needed, i can snap a few pics and post. thanks, rusty

I just went through the same thing. After I got the blade assembly onto the arms, I squeezed the coupling on the blade assembly where it meets the arm with a pair of pliers and they're now on for good. Hope this is true for yours, too.

went thru the exact thing. waisted money on two pairs of wipers before i ordered ones online thru LMC and they fit exactly like the ones i took off the truck.

Re: wiper blade, 1966 C20, issues
thanks ACK and Lisa. I ended up using brute force (like ACK) to get the blades to stay on.
the bayonet-style arm wouldn't hold any wiper blade properly - went to 4 different parts stores, and nothing worked.
