removing heater
I removed the heater that was in the cab of my truck temporarily. I was wondering if I can just plug the holes in the intake manifold and the water pump with hose plugs or do I need to run a hose from the pump to the manifold? Also does running the radiator fluid through the heater cor keep the engine cooler even if the heater is turned off? I am mostly concerned with my engine running hotter.

Re: removing heater
You can plug the holes or just connect the two heater hoses together. I don't think you'll see much of a difference with the heater installed or not on the engine temp.
