wanmt to add power brake booster to my '69 c10 sbc stepside, what is best choice, 7-8-9 inch single or dual diap. and is a angle bracket necessary, this is a drum/drum setup.

I just installed a 8" chrome booster/mc kit that I got from ebay, it came with the mounting bracket. Super easy to install and easily the best upgrade for your c10

thanks for info, several to choose from ebay, which one did yopu go to, was the m/cylinder included or use the present one, had install a new m/cylinder a few mounths ago and should be able to use it, did you have to go with an angle bracket or straight type,

Yeah the m/c was included it came with an angled bracket to insure correct pedal ratio

I got mine from the website the right stuff. I think it's a 11". I like the color and look of it

used a 8" duel booster, get the m/c with it for correct travel between booster and m/c, used a straight bracket to mount to firewall, worked out great,

Size of booster needed depending on cam I was informed. Radical lobbed cams may not provide enough for the smaller diameter boosters. Sure someone will chime in with more info.

Jeggs, use straight bracket with a small block and wont have to relocate pedal position for push rod. have an 8" duel and works great with the drum brakes on my 69, if you cant find it on jeggs let me know and i'll lookup the part number, been a while since i installed it, also get the booster with the

m/cylinder to match, therer are differant lengths for the push rod between the two, unless you want to make your own, i did.

sounds good, there are plenty of boosters/m-cylinders on ebay, rodparts etc, payed 80 for mine chrome and used stock m/cylinder, works and looks good, good luck.
