You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.

I used "Extend" but is now "Permatex Rust Treatment". I put a few coats on, then primer over. It has been about 2 years and no problems as yet.

If you are talking about just a couple of spots of rust under the carpet then I would just scrape it and paint it. The best thing to do when you see the first signs of that is to make sure you don't have water intrusion into the cab. Reseal your windows, doors, make sure you don't have a leak from the drip rail, cowl etc. Stop it now before it gets worse.

when i started on my pickup an old man gave me some great information. plastic roof cement. absolutely amazing. grind the rust off, and coat this goooo on. i used it on the tob and bottom of my cab floor and a year later it looks beatiful still, had to drill through it to install new seats. i love it. i love it enought to use on my dads 66 dodge crew cab project. good luck, Ben

In my last issue of Auto Restorer they did a comparison of rust preventers and the Eastwood product was rated the best over POR15.
