Dash trim?

Hello. I've got these holes in my '64 C10 dash that look like they may have been there to fasten a piece of dash molding or something. I dont think they were installed by a PO as the holes are too perfect and perfectly spaced. Cant find the molding either. Does anyone know if this was a dealer installed option or something. Cant find 1 truck that has this. I also have these stainless moldings around the door glass which also is a mystery to me. Getting ready to re-paint the dash and not sure if I should fill the holes or not. Pics attached. Thanks.

Re: Dash trim?

The holes in the dash are not factory. I have never seen any factory dash trim, or padding. I would just weld them shut.

That trim around the window on the door is commonly found on the GMC's.

Re: Dash trim?

Thanks for the replies. Someone did a good job of drilling...was hoping it would be some kind of stainless molding or something. In the absence of the correct part I'll weld them shut. Regards.
