New truck 1979 chevy truck with some questions
Hey guys just picked up this "79 chevy custom deluxe" it has a odd vin on it could i get some help on it it used to be a 4 speed and its a Hevey half ton

Where is that tag located on the truck? looks to be like some sort of a State tag or something..

There should be another vin on it. Trucks that get dilivered to the military/government have tags similar to what you posted. But im quite certain they also have a normal VIN on them somewhere.

It's a new vin the state reassigned and no that's illegal to swap vins

whats on the title? Same thing? You search the frame of the Chevy vin. Was it a state work truck or stolen or something like that?
