Christmas tree ornament??

I know it's an odd question but I was just curious if anyone knew if one had been made of these trucks and/or where one might be purchased. Would be kinda cool to hang on the tree this year!

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

Hallmark made a 1965 Chevy pickup Fire Truck ornament as well as a 196? GMC Fire Truck. I see them on eBay every once and a while.

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

A friend of mine, found an artist who custom paints anything on a glass bulb. She took a picture of my truck and had an ornament made.

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

Here’s a link to a site that shows what they look like, and still has them available for sale. 2009 is the 65 Chevy and 2006 is the 61 GMC:

You can click on each photo for a bigger view. And here’s the link to the regular trucks. Sadly none of them are of our trucks:

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

It looks like someone had a few of one design and just painted each of them himself. Kinda cool! Thanks for finding those!

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

I never saw the trucks before, the ones I have came with a plastic clip that clipped on the top. There were prolly more but that's the only 2 I have.

Re: Christmas tree ornament??

Those are all Hot Wheels and other die cast 1:64 scale cars. I wonder if he is cleaning up on those or not. Very simple to put a clasp on top to make any small scale die cast into an ornament. Wish I would have thought of that.
