Pre runner anyone done it?
I was curious if anyone has lifted one of our trucks instead of slamming it to the ground? I was thinking something like this Dinos truck is SWEET!

pooz911, is it top heavy at all? Ride better or worse? How about around corners? Sway bar? Brand of coils?

Re: Pre runner anyone done it?
The lift is Rancho Springs with a ball joint spacer, 3 inch body lift. 33 inch tires. The stock swaybar is still on in the original location. I don't feel top heavy while driving it. its not my lowered honda in the corners but it's fun to drive.

Re: Pre runner anyone done it?
Yes, It started out as a slammed truck frame off resto but my heart was always offroad. So I took a while and searched out companies that had the fiberglass molds still and finally rounded them up from two different sources. Then I sold off all the bling and started into this. I had it all done but was not impressed without the money to do coil-overs and long travel so it got all torn down again. Trying to find my hard drive with detailed pics. Will post them soon.

Re: Pre runner anyone done it?
Nice! I always gave thought to building a desert racer-style truck. By "style" I mean just like one,but not raced and street legal...ish.
Here are some pictures I had gathered

Re: Pre runner anyone done it?
Nice, I just watched mine roll away off to a better home tonight. It was my dream to redo it full race style but after 13 years and a couple kids we parted ways. Still trying to find my hard drive with the internal fab work I did.

Re: Pre runner anyone done it?
I can see the suspension being a big hurdle. I know the feeling of getting to a point where it's time to let it go.
