Decisions decisions '47 COE

OK, so a couple of weeks ago I picked up a 2003 1500 Silverado as a donor. Its got the 4.8/auto and all the other normal options. My undecided areas are should I try to maintain the ABS? Cruise I will maintain for sure. PS..yes PDB...yes, airbag and column? Gauges? AC..no. The truck has rebuilt manual windows (the '47) so it will be no on PW. The truck will be built in pick-up style with frame reinforcements for towing a 5th wheel (a 6 liter may be a option later). It will be mid engine. So what do you guys think?

Re: Decisions decisions '47 COE

I would keep the abs, it is actually going to be easy to do with the way the brakes are setup on the 03. As for the column, air bags, and gauges I would not due to the fact that I like the originality or these old trucks. Aftermarket gauges are a great option here because you can retain the electric speedo. I still have the entire harness from the 99 I parted out so I am going to use the auto headlights as well.
