Rear suspension question?
My 86 SWB was lowered before I bought it. The front has 1.25 coils cut and rear has 1 leaf taken out, leaving 3 left in the truck. I want to go lower, the front will just get 2.5 inch spindles. The rear is what has me undecided. I don't know how much drop I already have, so it is making my choice harder. I could use shackles, drop leafs or a flip kit. I also have 275/60R15 tires. Does anyone have stock suspension with those tires, or any of the drops above? Could you measure from the ground to the top of the rear wheelwell arch and give me the measurement.

Re: Rear suspension question?
I don't think it matters, because you will be starting from where you are...
In other words, a 2" drop shackle will drop you 2" from where you are now. A flip kit will drop you 4" or 5" (or whatever) from where you are now. In that case the stock measurement would be moot. Having said that, here is a reference picture of a stock '87 as received (P235/75R15 tires). K
