Not the usual towing question
This has been talked to death, but my issue is a little different, I think.
I have to move my C30 FLAT BED about 50 miles for engine, & cab install. Which means it's actually the opposite of a cab & chassis. It's a flat bed on a rolling frame. No cab, engine transmission. Opinions on putting it on a tow dolly (steering can't lock). I thought about a tow company and a rollback. Not sure what that would cost 50 miles one way $400.00 maybe? Then I have to get it back here when everything is installed on the truck. I have a GMC diesel turbo w/ a receiver hitch as well as 5th wheel hitch. So I'm not concerned about power to pull. Ideas?

Re: Not the usual towing question
If you don't own or know someone that will loan/rent you a trailer, Uhaul rents car trailers.
