inline 6 with auto trans?

Will a 350 trans fit on inline 6

I have a 1970 C-10 came from the factory with the 292 L6 and TH 350.

My Ventura had an inline 6 and it worked well with the stock 2 speed poweglide.

The 6 works well with an auto.I would think the 350 would be great though the few I've driven with a 6 had the PG.Keep in mind that it's still a 1 to 1 final drive.I'm eventually planning either a GV or a R4 behind my 250.
