Re: 68 swb "parts truck" turned resto
ordered my windshield rubber and all the door rubber. hopefully it will get here soon.
I still have a few more purchases to make, like a rear bumper(scratched the roll pan idea) and floor material. I do have a couple of questions. 1. Has anyone messed with the rubber flooring from www.automotiveinteriors.com? They say it is 1/8 thick and comes with the jute padding. $125 for the flooring and $26 bucks shipped. 2. Does anyone have Hagerty insurance and is it any good? Just curious, I like bundling, and my auto and home insurance is thru State Farm. The only thing is my previous 68's insurance was expensive. THEY list my truck as a high casualty risk, b/c it doesn't have ABS or airbags, crumple zones, etc. |

Re: 68 swb "parts truck" turned resto
installed the rear glass and windshield.
This was my first attempt ever. No broken glass, I would say it was a success. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 68 swb "parts truck" turned resto
The flooring also came in. I have it laying in my spare bedroom floor so it will regain its shape. It is an 1/8 in thick and came with the jute insulation. Not bad for $125.

Looks awesome! What else do you have left on it to finish up? It looks like you've been driving it.
