tips on replacing header gaskets
the header bolts on my truck are rusty and i fear snapping them if i mess with it what tips could anyone give me to get these out to replace the header gasket as its ticking like a mad typewriter lately lol. thanks in advance also i know it is the gasket as i have checked everything else.

If they break then they were gonna break anyways . If they are six point then use a six point wrench.

I have always made sure the motor was warm be for taking mine out

Motor warm helps (imo). I also take a punch, extension, whatever and "crack" the head of the bolt with a hammer. The shock seems to help.
Just make sure you hit it square. (The pin to the bolt, not the hand, fingers)
