Disci brake questions.
Swapping discs on the old truck, i have a ford 8.8 rear with disc brakes.. Is there a factory manual master cylinder i can use with my disc/disc setup? Thanks!

I would use a manual master cylinder for a mid 70's Corvette.

I have a 68 AMC Javelin with 74 AMC Hornet Discs up front and an 8.8 from a Explorer in the rear with discs as well. We went with a dual master cylinder from an 84 F-150 and are using the little one way valves you can pick up at Summit Racing. This turned out to be an outstanding set up. I have a very solid pedal and very equal braking on all types of surfaces. I bought an adjustable proportioning valve but didn't end up using it. You can find the valves here:

You can use the Corvette prop valve,or just add anadjustable valve in the rear line. That way tou can fine tune the braking if the rear is grabbing too soon. I like the Wilwood # 260-11179 valve.
