got my cab off

finely got my cab off the frame. somebody on here posted a way to do it with a cherry picker (thanks to who ever posted that) maybe in the facts?

not much room in my garage (couldn't do it outside because of the rock) and had just enough room between the door opener and the light to raise the cab. also then had to pull the cab out about 3' to clear the C/picker leg and rear tire.

this was a one man operation--a lower truck would be easier. wife took some pics

Looks great, I can't wait to get back to the States so I can work on my little project.

Sweet! It's gonna look as good as your hood & doors.
And even better all together!

Hey Kimble,

Would this PTO on the transfer case run your winch? I'm not sure how it works if the truck is stuck..

Oh, let me know how that windshield re-install goes too! I'll have to do mine, and I know someone (Brian) that had to do a dual install.

Re: got my cab off

yes auctioneer it wood. made out of 2x4"s and a piece of plywood in the middle on top.

Mitch--my pto is on my sm420 (d/side) and a driveshaft goes forward to the winch. I don't know anything about t/c pto's. output to the rear? might be for hyd setup. on mine you put the t/c in neutral and use the trans to run the pto.

windshield will be down the road--also $$$$
