My 84 C10 Longbed

I decided to take a small detour on Friday when I left work so I could stop and take some "artsy" photos of my truck. I mostly did this to get some pics from before I put the drop on it and some after I put the drop on it. I threw one more picture of some nice Cardinals graffiti for good measure. After all, it is October baseball time.

LOL - looks great.

Where is that mural? I spent about 5 weeks in Wentzville last month building vans at the assembly plant.

I had to laugh - about 8 times somebody walked up to me and outta the blue asked "....you a CARDINALS fan?"

I would say, meekly "...I'm from Detroit".

to which, they would stop, think for a few seconds, and say "...ok - yeah, ok, that's good, too!"

LOL

Re: My 84 C10 Longbed

That's the graffiti wall on the riverfront, just South of the Arch. It's about a 45 minuter drive from Wentzville. It's actually a flood wall that artists paint and change the artwork on periodically.

We definitely take our baseball seriously here, and we're usually pretty open minded about someone liking another team. Now, if you were here right now and Detroit had made it to the World Series instead of Boston, and you told us you were from Detroit...we might have given you some good hearted trouble before we bought you a beer while watching the game.
