Stereo Install plate.

Thought I would share this-Installed the head unit. The prior PO hacked the dash pretty bad. I found this plate at Crutchfield and it worked great to cover up the PO's hack job and I think it matches pretty well.

Re: Stereo Install plate.

Its unfortunate that these get hacked up. But in same respect at least there are options to make them look good again.

Looks great...almost appears truck came with a factory single din size radio.

Re: Stereo Install plate.

It looks like the same plate as in this post.

If I ever replace my factory stereo, that is the plate I'll get.

Re: Stereo Install plate.

Ooooooo, I found a billet one. http://www.yourcustomcar.com/radio-p...in-7387rp.html

The one you got from Crutchfield is most likely the Metra one part number 87-99-3052 http://www.metraonline.com/part/Chev...kit_87-99-3052 and would usually be cheaper anywhere but Crutchfield. EDIT: Duh, the link rudey737 posted already had this link hahahahaha!

That's what I thought. I have a 5 dollar piece of 1/8" aluminum sheet that will do just as nicely.

Your right about Crutchfield, I usually use their sight for info. I found this head unit on sale and bought it through them, most times they are more expensive.
