Re: What are you drinking in hot shops?

I work in a body shop too. I like to switch around some from straight water ,Ice tea, I make sun tea and add about a table spoon of sugar per gallon. I also add crystal lite to water. I like the pink lemonade flavor. I like to freeze half a bottle and fill as needed. Insulated jugs are nice too.

Re: What are you drinking in hot shops?

I drink room temp water& a lot of it IMO, best thing we can drink. Remember our body's are 75% water and when you are thirsty you are already dehydrated.
Hydration is the key drink more than you think you need and you will be good to go. Cheers, Pat

Get yourself a water filter system or water softener for your entire house. The government is putting too much floride in the water to dumb us all down

Re: What are you drinking in hot shops?

I drink water all day. When it's really hot I usually drink one sport drink in the afternoon to replace electrolytes. The most I'll drink is two all day. You don't need to drink it all day, then the sugar and salt aren't enough to be concerned

Re: What are you drinking in hot shops?

two cups o' joe in the AM. 1-3 cups of hot tea(using the same bag, i like hot water for some reason at night) drink about a gallon a day of water during the winter months and between 1-2 gallons during the hot months depending on what i do during the day. i am a fabricator, so its not uncommon for me to have my undershirt, tshirt and welding jacket on all day during the hottest days of the year.

i eat healthy and never feel like i need to supplement my electrolyte intake with extras in my beverage.

Primarily Bud Light with the occasional crown and sprite. The ice cubes in the crown keep me on track!
