Lift a 2wd 3/4t ??? *newbie*

Running an 8 inch wide rim versus a 10 inch will help in clearance issues as well. A narrower rim will pull the shoulder of the tire in a bit allowing a bit more clearance.

As the others have stated, your real problem is going to be with the front to have the needed room. You may still have to do some trimming on the stock fenders, especially at the back to make them clear even with both a body and suspension lift.

If it was a 4x4, you could fit 35s with 4 inches of lift easily. Since it's a 2wd you are about 2-3 inches behind in ride heght to start with. Good luck with your project, and be sure to post up pics of your truck, and welcome to the board! ...Joe

Hi again fellas!

Sorry that I am the slowest f*cker in shoes...

The lift is now done and the 35ers is mounted to the 16inch rims.
Total lift was 5" (only bodylift) had to leghten the steeringshaft and gearselector rod. Yes, as you said the fender needed som cutting...

Remain to do: fix rust, lift rear bumper and new paint...

Would like to say more pics are comming but in this pace its better to shut the f*ck up...

The body lift will be where you'll have to get most of the lift from. You can swap in a set of Heavy Duty 3/4 ton coil springs (stock replacements) in the front and put lift blocks in the rear.

Here's a before and after pic of my 78 C20 2wd, after swapping in Heavy duty coil springs up front (aprrox. 2 inch lift) and 1.5 inch lift blocks in the rear.
