If you read this on the board here, I think the primered stuff they were talking about was coming out of Texas.

Watch out for the shipping though, $50. Anybody know the GM part # for the tailgate?

The part number for this tailgate would be 467206. It isn't available from GM any more since its a 73-80 tailgate. In 81, they changed the bottom to include a bigger gap between the bed and the tailgate when it's open.

This think looks strange to me because there is no primer in the hinge are the picture shows so well. The EDP primer that GM puts on its sheet metal would have been in that spot since it's electrostatically applied. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a used tailgate. It still looks nice though.
