EZ Wiring Harness and brake light switch

Ugh! Keep blowing fuses. Already spoke to their tech support and determined the brake switch is still good. I hook up brake switch power to the switch, press the brake, all is good. Hook the white wire up to the column from the brake switch, BOOM, blown brake fuse. Any insight?

Ever try the compass trick for finding shorts?

Re: EZ Wiring Harness and brake light switch

Ok figured out brake lights (replaced rear connectors and one wasn't properly installed in the housing). Now I just need to get my turn signals working. I don't have the indicator wires hooked up to the gauge panel yet. Does that need to be done first?

They will work without the indicators hooked up.

Little update, blinkers come on, but stay bright. Don't blink back and forth. Thinking it may be the flasher relays that came with the kit. Will post update tomorrow (I have LED fronts and rear's).

I've got no first hand experience with this but I read it on this forum....I think..Pretty sure someone said it takes a special flasher to work with LED lights.
