Solder,it's not that difficult. Why halfass it?

Unless you're dead broke, I'd take the whole thing off (about 30 minutes to an hour). Shouldn't cost that much to have it re-soldered.

If the radiator is otherwise in good shape, you might want to have it rodded and clean while it's out.

I think if I had that issue, I'd call the local radiator shop. That said, a new radiator really isn't that much. I got a 3 row from Advance Auto for less than $200.00. Now I don't know what your budget is but it is a radiator....pretty important to the truck's functions.

I did have to get the actual part number for the radiator, Advance Auto didn't know what I was talking about.
