Re: Anybody try Summit Brand Headers?

All of summits house brand parts are made by big name companies so they should be good headers.

Re: Anybody try Summit Brand Headers?

Just bought a pair of Summit Racing ceramic coated polished headers for my 67 C10. I hope they fit. Looks like they will anyway. I have a 350 (5.7) not much clearance. But the headers that are already on it are in rough shape. The Summit Racing version look just like the ones I have. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Anybody try Summit Brand Headers?

The summit headers are just re boxed flowtechs for cheaper. I have a set of their ceramics and they work well. The ceramic coating isn't as durable as a set of $400+ headers.

Re: Anybody try Summit Brand Headers?

I have a set of their "cheap" long tube headers on my 78 K10. I absolutely hate them. They do not seal against the head worth a hoot. My truck has a 454 so maybe that's only the big block ones. I'm actually going back to manifolds as a result.
