1971 Radiator Fan Shroud
Anyone know the differenece between an AC and a non AC fan shroud?
I am considering buying a fan shroud for my AC 1971 C20. Thanks! |

The ac shroud is not as deep. I am running vintage air with a non ac shroud though. Your fan clutch or spacer needs to match as well so its the proper distance i tothe shroud for cooling (about half in).

Using the info in the thread link below, it's easy to modify a non-A/C shroud for to be identical to an A/C shroud. I placed masking tape around the circumference with one edge where the edge of the A/C shroud would be and used a sabre saw to slowly cut along the tape. I then sanded the edge smooth.
