Odd Tow Hook - Can anyone help ID it?
I received the tow hook from a friend. He said it was taken off a 1967 GMC pickup but it is the oddest looking hook I've seen.
Is it even a factory GM tow hook? Any help is appreciated in helping identify it. Thanks! |

It definitely is not factory for 67-72. Not sure what it's off, or if it's maybe just an old aftermarket one, but I do know what it isn't

Re: Odd Tow Hook - Can anyone help ID it?
I beg to differ AJ I believe its a factory rear hook. I think they had the two bolt pattern with one coming in from opposite directions

The hooks pictured in this ad are the style that most on this board believe are factory rear tow hooks.

Here are additional photos of the same style hooks that I took from another thread.

I'll post a picture of the underside of the hook to show the 2 mounting bolts. Thanks for all the help so far in ID'ing this hook! |
