Brake Cylinder/booster Kit Problem
I just tried installing my Brake Master Cylinder/booster Kit from Classic Performance(similar to brothers), and I am running into a problem. I have a camaro subframe, and a TH350 tranny. When I fit up the mastercylinder, the transmission crossmember is in the way. It looks like a custom crossmember, it's different then the one that brothers sells. Does anyone else have a simular setup? If so, what crossmember are you using? Thx, Lee

hey there. I had a similar problem. I was using a factory x-member, not sure what it was from, but when I went from a firewall mounted master cylinder to one that mounts under the floor, my power booster would hit the x-member. I bought a tubular after market x-member , they are much smaller, allowing more room, problem solved.

I talked to classic performance and they said that their crossmember will fit. Theirs bolts to the underside of the frame. It will be here on Monday, so I will know then. So it looks like I have an extra brothers crossmember if anyone needs one.
