Question 4wd or 2wd

I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to go lift and 4wd or lowered and 2wd. What made you guys decide and why? Oh and post pictures! Thanks

Re: 4wd or 2wd

I'm one of those weird types, I love these trucks no matter how they are built. Stock, lifted, dropped whatever. I personally am all about lowered trucks, can't really explain it it's just always been like that. Here's a few pics of my 67-72 stuff.

Re: 4wd or 2wd

I liked all of the above, so I kinda left it to what I could find and I went with the best truck I could find in my budget. Money was tight so I ended up with my c20 instead of a c10, and since its 2wd low is the way to go. I've only got the stuff to level it out but with my old sagging springs it will already look lowered 2/4"

Re: 4wd or 2wd

I'm new here (Hell, I don't even have my truck yet) but for me its a 2wd 67-68 C-10, my reason being that was what my dad had when I was a kid. I loved that truck, and its what comes to mind when I think of a real truck. I also don't need a 4x4 since I'm not going to off-road it, or plow snow in it. Mostly I want to be able to haul junk, furniture, parts, my motorcycle, etc.

Now I do want to do some mods, but I'm still in the planning stages as well. ^___^

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't even have a truck yet. I'm hoping soon though!
