new fuse block and wiring

When Grumpy's was still open I inquired about a replacement fuse block. One of the guys showed me a fuse block and wiring harness for my truck that was a duplicate of mine. Correct style fuse block ( with buse fuses and correct colored wires) for around $400.00. I checked with Arrowhead truck parts today and checked LMC, I didn't see it either place. Any one have ideas on this? Thanks!

Re: new fuse block and wiring

I just installed an americian auto wire kit in my 1968 c10. It looks like a good kit. Has newer style blade fuse, extra circuits for fuel tank, electric fans, power acc. I used it with an Nelson performance ls swap harness. Worked good.

M & H....Best in the market for my $.02.

http://www.wiringharness.com/

Products>Wiring Harness>Chevy Truck Catalog

Pages 11 or 12, depending upon what you have.
I'm using part 33915 on RAT.

Have used 'em before on the '72. Will use 'em again.
You can call and talk to a real person...Or just order with confidence.

No "connection" to me..Except the good ones under the dash...
...and all over the truck(s).

This is an old thread...But.......

http://www.wiringharness.com/PDFS/TR...hevy_Truck.pdf

Page 11

I'm using the 33915...The stocker. It was $367.

I think the 40358 has "updated" blade fuse block...But I'm not sure. I didn't care. It was $409.
And, at that time, the guy said three months before they were in stock.

No matter to me. I wanted the 33915.

If you call these guys, they'll talk to you.

Looks like a good set up. I've only used the M & H. Good experience, for me, makes a project turn out "as expected".

Different strokes.

Pic of an old stock block for no reason:

Re: new fuse block and wiring

I'm doing a complete frame off and in the re-assembly process I'm using 'Ron Francis' stuff. Everything is being replaced . . . soup to nuts!

Re: new fuse block and wiring

If you have gauges in the dash for battery, temp and oil pressure you need with gauges, If you have the red lights for battery, temp and oil you need without gauges.
