Re: Just pick it up! Let the fun begin!

Better late than never! My plan was to have the truck look the way it does now by Memorial Day but I just finished it last weekend. Couldn't stand looking at the white doors and purple hood so I got 12 cans of flat black and painted it in one weekend. I decided to paint the roof flat white to give it some contrast. Put 245/60 Coopers on the front and 295/50 Coopers on the back. Looking at it now I think I want to put drop spindles on the front to lower it another 2.5 inches. Next up is tinting the windows and a stereo system. But for now i'm happy.

^^^i second this statement. Been really glad for all the help I've received and advice I've gotten^^^^

I'd drop the rear to level it and go larger wheel and tire combo. Not blingy though. Run 20 steelies off a newer dodge with center caps. Google it, I think it's a cool modern way to do rat/ resto / hot rod. Black the steelies.

Excellent job on a low budget old school fix up !

I'm sure it was well worth the time it took you to get your truck to where it's at now. Enjoy it, you're sure to get a lot of compliments when you stop at various places...like, when gassin' up or stopping at a local burger joint.
